"It is thyself, mine own self's better part, Mine eye's clear eye, my dear heart's dearer heart, My food, my fortune and my sweet hope's aim, My sole earth's heaven and my heaven's claim." Act III, scene ii Written: 1593 Synopsis: Antipholus goes traveling to a foreign country with a faithful servant. Unknown to him, both he and his servant have identical twins who live and are well known in this foreign country. Much hilarity ensues when the other Antipholus' wife thinks he's being unfaithful, our hero's girl thinks he's been lying to her, and the other Antipholus wants his dinner and can't understand why he's not getting any. Characters: Antipholus of Ephesus, Antipholus of Syracuse, Musings: The age-old theme of mistaken identity, miscommunication and the every day occurence of an unknown identical twin brother. Hmm.
